amce studios is taking part in the 12th Darmstadt Merck Company Run.

Last Tuesday, the team from the digital agency took part in the Darmstadt Merck Company Run for the first time.

As the largest corporate run in Darmstadt, the Merck Company Run not only promotes team spirit and health awareness, but also supports charitable organizations. A portion of the collected entry fees goes toward funding local institutions and projects.

This year, a new participation record was set with 7,100 runners from 300 companies. Several team members from amce studios completed either the 3.5 km or 5 km course around the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor, home of SV Darmstadt 1898 e.V., depending on their personal goals. The rest of the team cheered them on from the sidelines with handmade, motivational posters to encourage them on their way to the finish line.

Felix Kalinka, an intern at amce studios, shared: “It was a lot of fun to take on this athletic challenge together with my colleagues, and knowing that the run supported a good cause made it even more motivating. We’ll definitely be back next year!”

The Darmstadt Merck Company Run is an event designed for companies, public institutions, as well as club and leisure teams to complete a course of approximately 2.5 to 10 km together. Individual runners are also very welcome to participate. The focus is not on competition or performance, but on reaching the finish line together. The experiences gained can be applied to both professional and personal life and have a positive impact on the working atmosphere within any company. The event also provides an opportunity for all participating organizations to connect, exchange ideas, and showcase Darmstadt as a thriving business location.
